Course Curriculum

A two-year practitioner training in biodynamic craniosacral therapy — grounded in field consciousness, embryological intelligence, and the pre and perinatal foundations of human health.

Twelve seminars of three to four days each, held every six to eight weeks across two years. Each seminar opens with the philosophical and field-based ground of the territory before moving into anatomy, clinical skills, and embodied learning outcomes.

The training is offered under the Soul Weaver practice, grounded in the Incarnate approach — the understanding that the body is a field of living intelligence from the embryological to the cosmological, and that genuine therapeutic presence arises from the practitioner’s own settled and attuned field.

About the training

Biodynamic craniosacral therapy is one of the most subtle and profound somatic modalities available. It does not impose treatment on the body. It creates the conditions in which the body’s own health — always present, always primary — can express itself more fully. The practitioner’s role is not to fix or direct but to orient toward health, to listen without agenda, and to trust the tides.

This training is grounded in that orientation from the first seminar. It begins not with anatomy but with field consciousness — with the practitioner’s own capacity to settle, to sense, and to be genuinely present to the living intelligence of the system before them. Everything else is built on that ground.

The curriculum moves from the invisible to the visible — from the organising field to the tissue it gives rise to, from the embryological ground to the clinical application. Each seminar deepens the threads laid down in the previous ones. By the end of the two years, what has been developed is not a set of skills but a quality of formation: a practitioner whose own field is coherent enough to create the conditions in which another’s system can find its way toward health.

“Coherence recognises coherence. The practitioner’s own field is the first field the client’s system encounters. Trust the tides. Stay out of the way. What wants to heal will find its way through.”

TRAINING STRUCTURE

—  Twelve seminars of three to four days each

—  Held every six to eight weeks across two years

—  Maximum twelve participants per cohort — to preserve the quality of the relational field

—  Each seminar structured through the five-phase framework: intention, preparation, action, stop, integration

—  Homestudy between seminars: reading, practice write-ups, and hands-on practice with receiving partners

—  Ongoing personal BCST sessions required throughout the training — the practitioner’s own process is not separate from clinical formation

—  Supervision integrated into the training from seminar four onwards

—  Case study programme in year two

—  Continuous assessment with regular tutor feedback

WHAT IS DEVELOPED ACROSS THE TRAINING

—  Palpatory skills — developing the sensitivity to feel subtle tidal motion, potency, and the quality of tissues and fluids

—  Perceptual skills — learning to perceive the body at the physical, fluid, and field levels simultaneously

—  Contact skills — developing a quality of touch that is spacious, inviting, and relational rather than directive

—  Treatment skills — learning to work with the full range of expressions that arise in clinical practice

—  Pre and perinatal integration — understanding and working with early life material as it presents in the adult system

—  Clinical understanding — developing sound clinical judgment, the ability to assess health and change, and safe practice

—  Relational and field consciousness skills — developing the capacity to sense and work with the relational field

—  Practitioner formation — tending the practitioner’s own field as the continuous ground of the work

—  Practice development — building a sustainable and ethical professional practice
